The Succession of the Bride of Christ: A dual responsibility

Published on 11 October 2024 at 00:00

It is written in Esther 2:8-10 So it came about when the king’s command and his decree were proclaimed and when many young women were gathered together in the citadel of Susa into the custody of Hegai, that Esther was taken to the king’s palace [and placed] in the custody of Hegai, who was in charge of the women. Now the young woman pleased Hegai and found favor with him. So he quickly provided her with beauty preparations and her [portion of] food, and he gave her seven choice maids from the king’s palace; then he transferred her and her maids to the best place in the harem. Esther did not reveal [the Jewish background of] her people or her family, for Mordecai had instructed her not to do so.

This month of October 2024 (Hebrew new year 5785, Yom Kippur-11th-12th) marks the beginning of the Holy Spirit as the Keeper of the Church, the Body of Christ. Spiritually positioning (set apart) and preparing (purification/cleansing + beautification) the Bride of Christ in readiness to meet her Bridegroom, Christ the King.

She is being refined into a vessel of honour, so she can be presented as a spotless Bride without blemish or wrinkle, holy and without fault.

She is being empowered with Power and Authority; an anointing to Reign and Serve, to lead with Wisdom and govern with Grace.

Her spiritual readiness and divine alignment will lead to Spiritual Stewardship and Practical Leadership [Matthew 25:14-46].

And so, there is AN URGENCY to prepare for those ‘elected’ IN Christ demanding a higher level of SPIRITUAL CONSECRATION (prayer and fasting, reflecting and repentance, reset and restoration). So, they can step into their ‘effectual calling’ anointed into their roles as BOTH KINGS (kingly Anointingand PRIESTS (priestly Anointing). This is a dual responsibility; a double portion to those who will walk with Power and Authority.

For this reason, this two-fold ministry sets the groundwork for the Crown and the Scepter. As She, the intended Bride of Christ comes carrying the light successfully becoming the torchbearer who AWAKENS the World to the Glory of Christ the Bridegroom and His Kingdom.

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went to [a]meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish [thoughtless, silly, and careless], and five were wise [far-sighted, practical, and sensible]. For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil along with their lamps.  Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all began to nod off, and they fell asleep.  But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look! The bridegroom [is coming]! Go out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order [trimmed the wicks and added oil and lit them]. But the foolish virgins said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ But the wise replied, ‘No, otherwise there will not be enough for us and for you, too; go instead to the dealers and buy oil for yourselves.’ But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut and locked.  Later the others also came, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, open [the door] for us.’ But He replied, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, I do not know you [we have no relationship].’ Therefore, be on the alert [be prepared and ready], for you do not know the day nor the hour [when the Son of Man will come].
